DB Joiners & Builders is a family run business based in Berwick-upon-Tweed carrying out building projects in North Northumberland and also in the South East Scottish Borders. The business was established in 1997 and we have over 25 years experience. We specialise in new builds, traditional or timber framed homes, extensions and renovations.

At DB Joiners & Builders we care about the environment and we are very keen to promote the very latest in insulation and environmental building products.

 

Being a small family run business we can offer you a personal, efficient service, but due to our size we also require a fair amount of notice to start a project so it is important to get an estimate well in advance. It is advisable to contact us after gaining outline planning permission, but before applying for a building warrant, this way we can help you and advice you at a critical stage. We have a very strict code of practice and we only like to undertake one project at a time to give our clients our full support and attention, although sometimes, we do overlap with other jobs at the start and end of a project, because it is normal to give a customer a start date and the previous customer always wants extra works doing at the end of the project. We employ a highly skilled work force as well as a large range of specialist subcontractors to help us deliver a high standard of work. We believe in helping young people therefore we pride ourselves in providing employment to local apprentices, and we have been doing this for many years.
